Alone For Thanksgiving

The airport shuttle just picked up the wife, she's off to London for three weeks while I fend for myself at home. While the rest of you lucky jammy bastards are eating pecan pie, watching football and enjoying family ole dubcough will be here with the yorkshire terrior eating whatever I decide to buy at the market tomorrow.
That being said I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, enjoy your loved ones while you have them and make sure that turkey's cooked to 165!

bon appetit!

Actually me and my wife aren't cooking anything, we are just going out to a resturant for dinner. No preparation, no mess, no cleanup, and no left overs.

I went out yesterday to a high end market and picked up a half turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, yams, sausage stuffing and a green bean casserole. It's all good.

A turkey roast or roll is a great alternative for Thanksgiving! Very little waste and still can taste great! But don't cheap out with vegetables! Get fresh green beans, yams, potatoes, etc
I dunno Taos... seems a little late to start planning for this year, isn't it? :p

I like fresh green beans raw as a snack. If it was more than just me here I'd go all out with the fresh potatoes, yams...etc
