Times have changed, it's offense that wins championships.
Getting 98 plays in...eventually offensive players are going to beat defensive players. All about getting playmakers that know where they are going more opportunities against defenders that can only react. Especially at college level. Kids can't be perfect for 98 snaps, or even 80% of that.

But I'd still say defense wins, just the goalpost of scoring and yards have moved with today's game. Clemson's D was stellar tonight.

What's the difference between 2015 buckeyes and 2016 Clemson tigers? OSU flirted with defeat throughout the year and lost to MSU, Clemson flirted with defeat all year and lost to Pitt. Both teams were the best team in the country. The fact that OSU did not win it all last year will go down as one of the biggest wastes of a loaded roster in college football history. Will always sicken me.

When I look at those guys in the NFL I'm baffled how they didn't run the table winning every game by 40 like 1995 Nebraska.

Warrick Dunn, then with the Atlanta Falcons, gave Deshaun Watson's mother (Gainesville, GA) a house in 2006 as part of a program he did to help single mothers with large families. Dunn's own mother was a police officer shot and killed while off-duty.

Stories like that remind you why Pay it Forward is so important. You don't know whose lives you might change. Hell, you could change College Football history 11 years in the future.
