Lawrence was very impressive but those WRs are what I am expecting out of our group next year... amazing

Another example of TWO long standing beliefs
The better team doesn't always win... it's whoever is better THAT day... I watched Clemson games that Clemson was not what they were last night; same for Bama
You win in the trenches... DL wins major games

Last night's disproven tale - better running game wins game

If we were playing Bama, the score would have been 76-72; neither D would have showed up; Haskins would have thrown for 600 yards

ESPiN has outright owned ACC since the 90s, as i recall and essentially the reason BE doesnt exist anymore.
There's a reason theyre last to get a 3rd tier rights network... it's not lack of a major tv supporter (like PAC) or that ESPN was already showing all their games.
ACC has always made fuckall off tv ratings compared to the Power 3 conferences... with wannabe12 filling the gap between ACC and us.
ESPN will always try to prop them up, but it's not quite the same as SECN where they paid a kings ransom for rights to shit like this...
They dont need 10 ACC schools in the top25... just a few... because they have nothing invested.

That's exactly what ESECACCPN is building here. They think they can recreate the SEC Network wtih the ACC.

ESPN didn't have all of the ACC rights though, they also had to deal with regional syndication groups like Raycom and CSN and MASN. The SEC Network came together differently, but ESPN is definitely trying to do the same with the ACC. Raycom has already bowed out as will the other two once the ACC Network shows up.

The hype is real - ESPN will hype both of their networks (and their conferences) to the detriment of everyone else, including the Big Ten. The problem, as you point out, is the ACC doesn't get near the ratings in football that everyone else gets. It will be interesting to see how this goes.
