Saw this on 11W, and it is plain silly. All these guys came back after being draft eligible:

"Jonathan Allen, safety Eddie Jackson as well as linebackers Reuben Foster, Ryan Anderson and Tim Williams as well as standout tight end O.J. Howard."

If that was OSU, every single guy leaves early.
If that was OSU, those dudes wouldn't be getting a signing bonus for coming back.

Right? When he retires he's going to fucking regret the way he was when he couldn't enjoy any of these championships.

Which again brings me back to how we pay our people.... Bama and Clemson out spend us in recruiting and Bama has like 7 more analyst then us. We need to actually spend some fucking money and compete in the staffing department.

If you don't think it matters you're drunk.

Hey, go check out our recruiting class this year. It should calm you down

And not only do they get the best players literally every year, it's the kind of players they get. The South just grows more dancing bears than any other place for whatever reason.

Millions of blue collar families, who produced midwestern football players, have moved south over the last 40 years. This southern migration has coincided with the SEC becoming the dominant conference, not to mention the runs Miami and Florida State put together during that time as well.

We still have some up here, of course, but the south has more than it ever had in the past.

It was an annoyingly huge aberration. How many stars from big programs come back for a 4th year after an NC? Almost never happens.
