Saban has struggled to motivate his teams for bowl games that don't matter. He hasn't had focus issues in CFP games. OSU came in with looks the tide weren't ready for. Oklahoma and Utah won because bama played terribly.
Its unlikely that bama will play poorly as a whole. Of course, Milroe could have a bad night, there could be poorly timed fumbles, etc. but I think the more likely scenario that could generate an alabama loss is that Michigan does something that Saban doesnt think they could do.

Difference also is, OU and Utah were exhibition bowls and not for an actual championship. Saban doesn't F around when championships are on the line.

I’m a huge Creed fan and was confused at why he went to visit Bama’s facilities so I searched it and came across that article.
I never did either.
We often talk about people sometimes taking this sport too seriously but in a negative way (Alabama fans in particular have developed a reputation for this).
It’s nice to see it be more than “just a game” in a positive one for a change!
