Good for him, honestly. If not for Deshaun Watson and that gym rat/coach's son, Hurts is an Alabama legend.

You don't give Craig Krenzel any credit for 2002?I disagree... that defense and the running game got them to the title. Not the poor throwing QB
that's not mutually exclusive to being a Bama legend. They haven't had a good QB since McCarron... until now.I disagree... that defense and the running game got them to the title. Not the poor throwing QB
Krenzel outrushed MoC and McGahee. No where near the defense and MoC... same as hurts (actually their numbers are fairly close)
But I'm a really fucking savvy internet guy...opinion of teammate > opinion of random internet guy
Which hurts didn't have to do all year... Alabama didn't win their games this year because hurts is some good QB.. they won their games because A) most teams were poor and B) their running game and defenseKrenzel picked up a huge third down with his feet at Wisconsin, too.
Hurts was been their second leading rusher the past two seasons.Which hurts didn't have to do all year... Alabama didn't win their games this year because hurts is some good QB.. they won their games because A) most teams were poor and B) their running game and defense
Is he a top 2-3 reason though for their success? IMO no.Hurts was been their second leading rusher the past two seasons.
I'm not saying he's a great or even good QB, but he's still been their QB and he has a skillset that Saban hadn't had before him. His mobility has absolutely helped them win games the past two years.
No, but none of his QBs have been outside of McCarron in 2012. I still give them credit. Is he a top 2-3 reason though for their success? IMO no.
