Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

While I’m talking to myself here. Bama’s WRs are generally terrible route runners. They just can’t get open, or do something dumb like running a 2 yd route on fourth and 4 (see Robert Foster on Saturday). It makes Jalen, who is probably an above average passer, look very average. Combine that with an OL who doesn’t do well in pass protection, and things get downright difficult.

Wait, you think Jalen Hurts is an above average passer and is being turned into an average passer due to receivers? Sorry, but no. Maybe if you said average passer being turned into below average passer I could buy that.

If OSU wins Gcash how do you see the discussion between Alabama and OSU going?

Like this:

Conference Championship (yes/no)
Top 10 wins/Top 25 wins (yes/no)
Strength of Schedule (yes/no)
Losses (yes/no)

Ohio State checks off 3 of the 4, including higher TV ratings/sales if it’s a factor.

Answering for cash, as he would want it.

The loss by 31 is killer.

I don't really like Bama's chances if they were to make the playoffs this year. Bama has not looked great against quality competition. What I mean by that is a big win over Wisconsin would probably get OSU in. A regular win probably wouldn't do it.

Bama's only loss is on the road to the hottest team in the nation.
