Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

With an extension a year ago, DeBoer now makes $4.2 million annually through 2028.

Washington could be offering him a new contract, etc.; however, the betting odds for the Alabama position are now favoring DeBoer:

Here are the coaches with the best odds in Vegas, according to Sportsbetting.ag:

Kalen DeBoer, -200
Dabo Swinney, +100
Steve Sarkisian, +400
Lane Kiffin, +500
Mike Norvell, +1000

Whichever school he ends up at, he'll be making a lot more money thaq $4.2M per year.......

Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Tommy Rees.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

that would be a very telling hire, and maybe not completely ridiculous.

hiring Rees would be the Bama admin basically saying "ok, no matter who we hire, they won't be Saban and the fans will hate him and want to run him off. So let's hire a guy that won't collapse the program, but will obviously be below Saban standards. Then in 3 years we can fire him and hire a legit coach. That guy still won't be Saban, but will be more acceptable because he's an improvement over Rees."

sort of getting out in from of that old saying about not wanting to follow the legend, but want to be the guy who follows the guy that followed the legend.

I’d love it since it would prevent BK from hiring him to replace Denbrock.

Norvell not going to Bama
Lots of agents should be sending Saban giant thank you baskets!

Both Norvell and Sarkisian made the announcements on social media. Later Friday, Florida State announced that it had reached an "enhanced" deal with Norvell. Sources told ESPN that it's an eight-year deal with an average of more than $10 million per season.
