I mean, watching that announcement conference told me all I needed to know. Turned it off after 30 minutes.Recruiting forum so I can’t really say what I want lol…
That said, I’ll always root against these two now (Oregon and Offord)… to go all cycle committed then flip at the last minute to me shows who you are. If you’re going from a small school to a big school cool I get it.
But if you’re a 5 star who can go anywhere and you flip the day of? No reason for that whatsoever. He knew well before and he didn’t have to do this at the last minute. At the very least out of respect to the coaches you committed to. I don’t know how kids do things like this.
I don’t even care he flipped because that happens but at the last second? Just unbelievable.
Exactly. This one I just expected a flip to somewhere. It's the recruiting forum but I'll say this. The manner in which you conduct yourself matters. Not just committing to a school and taking the highest bidder, but the way you announce that fact to everyone like that...I am no longer upset over this.
I wish him good health. But really nothing else after that charade.
sometimes its not up to the kids... there are other controlling influences and go against the kids wishesExactly.
Did Walton deserve that? The coach he had a close relationship with for 2 years? I honestly don’t get how kids do these things

I didn't know we are equating winning a recruiting national championship is the same as winning a NC. LolUnbelievable. Oregon owns us too.

The scary team out there on the recruiting trail is now Oregon. They have the money, and they are really getting players to buy in. OSU runs similar to Oregon, but without the Phil Knight money.
Eighty-six-year old Phil Knight was a prime example. The cofounder of Nike desperately wanted his beloved Oregon Ducks to win a national championship before he died and took a hands-on role in turning Oregon's Division Street collective into one of the country's most cutting-edge and wealthy operations.
