2025 AL CB Na'eem Offord (Ohio St. Soft Verbal)

Na’eem Offord visiting Florida this weekend

Ohio State continues to fight off other teams trying to poach five-star 2025 cornerback commit Na’eem Offord. For the past few months, Auburn and Oregon have been the main challengers for the Alabama product.

But a new challenger has entered the ring, as Offord plans to visit Florida this weekend for the Gators’ game against LSU. Florida isn’t perceived as big of a threat for Offord compared to the other schools, but a visit does show some interest nonetheless.

Ohio State still hopes to get Offord back on campus for the Buckeyes’ game against Michigan on Nov. 30. Either way, the Buckeyes will continue to fight to maintain Offord’s commitment through National Signing Day on Dec. 4.

Was this guy ever truly even in the class? Lol. Gotta read between the lines.

Elite talent but do not want if he’d rather go to AUB anyways. We good with what we got.

watch what they do and not what they say.

I think along with the massive NIL deal I’m sure he will get, a promise of early PT and being able To play in front of family are all things that OSU just can’t offer. And tbh, that doesn’t bother me one iota, he and Sanchez will be fighting for PT next year, and not stepping right in to a starting role. OSU still has Matthew’s, CSH, Scott, West, and Lockhart. That’s 5 players who have already been in a college system, battling college level WRs who will almost all be pros. Whats the famous quote: play for Ohio State or get beat by Ohio state. OSU will be fine with or without this kid

Well said and all I would have to add is the southern recruits committing to get a bigger bag from an SEC school needs to be monitored very carefully moving forward. There will be a flip here, just a matter of which school and he played the system to chagrin.

But aside from my Debbie Downer post, I would keep an eye on Brew. We're not giving up there and that would be a great recovery.
