2025 AL CB Na'eem Offord (Ohio St. Soft Verbal)

Not good. Time to start seeing who they can flip. And/or wait for the Portal. I’m sure Dorian Brew has always been the name to watch, and that doesn’t change now. With or without Offord

If the winds blow right, maybe Joey Freshwater will be the new coach at Auburn. Heck, with a few more twists and turns, Joey might actually become coach of ALL the SEC teams before he hands up his cleats. Sad to hear about Offord, seemed like a great fit for our DBs. Oh well, there's more out there. Day (as with UFM before him), seems to 'lose' one recruit, then turn/get another in the same position group, just a little bit higher.....

Got around to watching a little of Talking Stuff,
Birm said Ohio State is a lot more optimistic that they keep Na’eem Offord than he is but he says he’s a pessimistic person in general.
He said Ohio State wants a 3rd corner and the kids they are in contact with are unrelated to Offord.

It’s funny how fans spin his words constantly to fit their narratives.

Sorry to derail, but all the "Birm said" Twits irriate me. I mean, who needs context anyway?

I heard the podcast and it didn't sound bleak to me, it sounded like Birm drew parallels to the ND QB who just flipped to Auburn. He also said that the OSU sources aren't worried.

Full disclosure my pessimistic outlook on Offord signing with the good guys has more to do with years of following recruiting than Birms reports. Even though I think he's one of the more tuned in media guys covering OSU
