Game Thread Akron at tOSU, Sat. Aug. 31, 3:30pm ET, CBS

Damn I hate our crowd sometimes… the south end zone left?
Unfortunately Get used to it…part is that only rich people can consistently afford tickets, and they ain’t the die-hards. And let’s face it, everyone is spoiled. 1999-2001 is such a distant memory that likely 30-50% of our fans didn’t even watch football then, and we are ranked so highly every season that it doesn’t seem like a big deal to see a top 5 team live like it used to. All the transferring and NIL also doesn’t lend to investment in favorite players as much, because they could be gone in a year. It’s sad what is happening, but not surprising.

How fat and lovely is that dog?
Well I have two dogs at the house. My wif and I are down to one having lost Brutus, Buckeye and Tressel to old age. The other dog is a neighbor‘s dog whose owner attended OSU medical school. Their dog Lizzie now knows the process after 2 scores. When OSU scores a TD, we yell “Go Bucks”, I grab a treat and dogs run over. I yell give me five and they lift their paws and then they get a treat…like I stated it took the neighbor’s doga couple of times before he figured it out…

not mention ... this game is going to be 4hrs plus... its increasingly a TV product not an in person product. I'd have a touch time getting super pumped up against Akron..

As a student in the 90s I could not afford it. I only have been to 4 games
