No its 3 hours and just starting the 4th. They tried to shorten games with clock rules and just added 8 more commercial breaks.

Ironically, it’s sort of paralleled professional wrestling…both used to be almost exclusively live products, and TV was only really to generate more interest in attending live events. Now, being part of the “house” has taken such a back seat to the TV production values that the powers that be don’t really even take it into consideration anymore.

It wasn’t that long ago that there were a handful of games on a week…or less.

Not gonna lie... I'm half watching....I'm increasingly watching the EPL .. its so nice and compact ... its a 2hr investment then you move on... these games you pencil in 4 hrs but thats a guess

I remember, for example, the level of outcry in 1998 when the team was #1 and freshman could only get 1 ticket, not season tickets. It was huge. Now, I don’t know that it would even be a ripple in the pond.

Same…..I had the UGA-Clempson game on and flipped over the NBC match and just ended up staying there.
