After which, in the next post he said "Bama will always be in the hunt". So i think the point here is nobody knows. It's okay in the interim to feel very strongly..both ways! Kinda like the Kurelic mantra...a very strong 50-50.

AJ Harris dad on Tim Walton,

“I can say coach Walton has done his part,” Dan said. “He has been highly visible and has fostered the relationship. Coach Walton has done a great job. He is doing his part.”

He went on to add,

“The unofficial visits are over,” Dan said. “He is waiting to take his official visits. You may see us (visiting Ohio State) in April or May. I think he still wants to be committed (to a school) by the summer. Ohio State still has as good a shot as anyone.”


Saw this on 11w. Will be a fight, we always knew that. But I’m feeling confident :lift:

Birm has (indirectly) verified the info pnuts34 had above by saying Harris will be taking a final round of visits in March to North Carolina, Clemson, and Florida followed by a visit to Ohio State in April. Birm seems encouraged because Tim Walton has done such a good job jumping into the recruitment, yet cautious because nothing's been decided yet. Let's hope being 'last' results in the Bucks finishing 'first'.

In Birm's Talking Stuff he mentions Harris' friendship with Big Luke as a real positive as well as the above posts (provided by Buckeye86). He also
says Coach Walton has been recruiting the heck out of the kid with help from Coach Day to the point that the loss of Coach Coombs should no longer be an issue.

If you get a chance to watch Birm’s interview with him, they kind of go out of their way to drop hints.

I could be looking too far into it. But after watching Birm do these interviews for the last few years, it’s easy to pick up his tells.
