Beside the fact that your ticket has your gate and flight number along with all the info on the flight app. Besides have you never flown before and can you not read? Lastly, it’s pretty surprising their wasn’t a seat issue.I can’t even begin to understand the level of fuckup it would take for this to really happen these days.
If they have the ability to tell you that you’re in the boarding line before your group was called… and they know when I’m in an exit row… there’s no way one should be able to get past the gate agent with it being a ‘whoopsie.’
Agreed. Completely. And I may include the gate agent as a co-conspirator.Beside the fact that your ticket has your gate and flight number along with all the info on the flight app. Besides have you never flown before and can you not read? Lastly, it’s pretty surprising their wasn’t a seat issue.
Too me this is someone trying to fuck things up and grab a headline.
It’s almost the equivalent of making a gumbo and NOT adding tomato to it!I can’t even begin to understand the level of fuckup it would take for this to really happen these days.
Considering I’ve never done either, I’ll consider adding both to my todo list in retirement. Not sure if I’ll get to it, but I’ll add em both to the list. It’s almost the equivalent of making a gumbo and NOT adding tomato to it!

Kind of off topic but speaking of river cruises, have you ever done the delta in a houseboat? That was one of my grandfather's favorite things besides deep sea fishing. The way airlines change gates these days, am surprised that a changed destination doesn't happen more often. Have been flying more, back and forth to C'bus, overseas, Hawaii, Australia, etc, so invested in a $495 American credit card that gains us automatic entry to the lounges (seems like wait time between legs is loooonger). Good investment, has paid back couple of times, and no waiting on the food. Some lounges are better than others, and large hubs have more and better served than the smaller. Anyway, far better than sitting in waiting area with the masses. PS, also lets one board earlier, so can get overhead bin space. Wife gets all the credit for this one....two trips left, River cruise this year in Europe, and next year for last golf cruise to Ireland and Scotland. (Wife likes cruises, cause all she has to do is get dolled up and show up).
