I can’t even begin to understand the level of fuckup it would take for this to really happen these days.

If they have the ability to tell you that you’re in the boarding line before your group was called… and they know when I’m in an exit row… there’s no way one should be able to get past the gate agent with it being a ‘whoopsie.’

Beside the fact that your ticket has your gate and flight number along with all the info on the flight app. Besides have you never flown before and can you not read? Lastly, it’s pretty surprising their wasn’t a seat issue.

Too me this is someone trying to fuck things up and grab a headline.

Agreed. Completely. And I may include the gate agent as a co-conspirator.

It’s almost the equivalent of making a gumbo and NOT adding tomato to it!

Considering I’ve never done either, I’ll consider adding both to my todo list in retirement. Not sure if I’ll get to it, but I’ll add em both to the list.
