Turns out it didn't matter how bad the long snapper was. 
Bengal fans are gonna bitch about the kicker, but even if he makes both of those they're still down by 4.

That's true, but they are down 10, and it is also true that Palmer's game has been off today. High and wide, inexplicable lack of communication with his most veteran receiver. Perhaps there is a reason other than balance that caused the Bengals to opt for more running.
