AFC Championship: Patriots at Colts(-2.5)

Holy shit I'm finding myself in agreement with Tibor  :wink2:

Brady was put in SPECIFICALLY because Bledsoe wasn't getting it done.

I thought Brady was put in because Bledsoe was hurt? FWIW, I'm pretty sure Bledsoe was 1-0 in the playoffs under Belichick. I'll give credit to Tom Brady for being a good player, but the Pats became successful when they shifted their offensive philosophy to accommodate for having a young, inexperienced Brady at the helm.

yeah, remember that Pats team had an amazing running back. :roll1:

The excuses on this board for Brady's HOF career is hilarious.
Brady has had the line, but not the receivers, and only had a great RB (Dillon in his first year) for one of his super bowls.
He's had less help than Joe Montana or Terry Bradshaw. That much is obvious to anybody.

Nope I'm not....

Internal bleeding? Damn I don't remember that....

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Bledsoe wasn't going anywhere with the Pats that year......

If I remember right bledoe wasn't playing bad for the pats that year. There was actually allot of debate as to if bledsoe oe Brady should be the starter at the end of the year since Bledsoe never "lost" the starting job.

Yeah I blew that one....Bledsoe ended up with internal bleeding and Brady was named the starter the next week....

As for the offense, yes they toned it down and when they opened it back up the next year, Brady threw 14 picks (I'm reading the Wiki page on him now)....
