I don't think Bledsoe ever started a playoff game for Belichick. I always thought the Patriots were a passing team with Bledsoe. Insert a HOF QB in Brady and he took the Patriots to another level.

He didn't start that AFC Championship game against the Steelers - he came in for an injured Brady in the second quarter.

Like what? Sit back for 10 seconds while his WRs get open? Throw screen passes? Hand the ball off?

Oh I know....have his RB fumble the ball, but his OLineman jumps on it after 3 Colts players play with themselves instead of the ball.

Tom Brady easily = Joe Montana in that case.

I'm not saying in this game...this game he has had some lucky breaks, His career has had some lucky breaks. but he has also done some good things on his own in his career. If you go by your logic then no qb can be good if they have anybody do anything around them

what a stupid call on 3rd and 5 after the great play getting it down there. Why would you take the ball out of Peyton's hands in that case.

Because Manning has killed them before.

They went with a safe play because they have a solid FG kicker this year, instead of the "idiot kicker"...
