Off the top of my head, I'd say checking whether you had an apartment in Columbus and did you generate any W-2 income out of state. Stay in Columbus over the Summer and do an internship or undergrad research position, take a part-time job, drink some beers. It'll work out.
If you're in-state for UVA, I agree that would be hard to turn down. OTOH, if you were one of the first batch of acceptances and you're competitive for admission to UVA, I'm assuming you have a strong application. The first batch of acceptances are to those students that Ohio State really wants, so make sure you're on top of the merit-aid packages and all of the merit options that are available to you, as well as pre-enrollment into Honors & Scholars.
