I agree with this post 100%. Musburger gets wrapped up in the emotion of a football game and usually ends up calling in favor of the underdog, or the team that is hot at the time. Anyone that questions Musburger's leanings should go back to the games he called in 2002.

Keith Jackson is just an old old man...but his famous lines are still fun to hear. I enjoyed listening to him in the 02 national championship but I could not handle him all season long...the Pac 1 can have him.

Fouts, I dunno...just something about him I dont like.

As for ABC, whats the former ND lineman who's now an analysist on halftime shows...I hate that fuckin guy.

Could we be witnessing the beginning of transferring the ABC sports brand properties to ESPN? In order to capture the synergies and scale economies, it would make sense to focus one on sports and the other on entertainment...uh, wait a minute, uh, er, uh.....

For the record, I could give a shit what Brent Musburger wears and if he worked an OSU game decked out in a Brutus Buckeye outfit I would like him neither more nor less. He could call the game wearing an Aztec Sungod outfit and I'd still not give a shit. I just want someone to call the fucking game, and Brent my man does it better than about everyone else right now. Keith used to be the best, and honestly, Musburger used to drive me nuts. Now Keith can't complete a sentence and Musburger seems to me much less "wishy washy" than he was when I didn't like his calling games.

GD - as for musburger sucking wolvie dick all game, I also recall him taking a facial for Troy Smith a couple of times, and I think he was willing to let AJ have him rectally.

I don't know... maybe you were kidding?

Hey, if Lee Corso can do it along with his picks every week. Then why can't Brent wear a costume while calling the games?

Keith Jackson is the most anti-OSU broadcaster all because Woody wouldn't kiss his ass like most coaches. He's a lot like Madden, he has all the sayings but has not had an original thought in 25 years. Fouts is just pro Pac 10 but at least he knows the game.

Fouts is an assclown. when porter's penalty at the end of the NC game was being discussed, Kieth said "It was defensive holding"...whild dickface dan says, "THAT'S NOT WHAT HE CALLED KIETH"


p.s. if he had said "his daddy" (in reference to soulja's father) one more friggin time, i had planned on killing him in his sleep on the one year aniverssary of that game.:tongue2:

Fouts definitely knows the game, but he does not let that get in the way of his overwhelming bias when calling a game. He drove me nuts again last night on the ND/Stanford game.

He can. Didn't you get my post, Tedward? I don't give a shit what broadcasters wear. He could wear a mustard stained wife beater, he could wear a toga, he could wear lipstick and a sun dress. Just call my fucking football game.

While I'm at it, and this goes for the NFL too, a little less pre-game fanfare please... I don't need a country dude singing songs about what day it is and what teams are about to play and all this. I just want to watch some fucking football. I'll still watch even if you don't have Goober and the Peas opening up the broadcast with some 2nd rate lyrical nightmare. I could also do with less buzzclip theatre, unless you add more cheerleader chests, just give me the friggin game 10 minutes earlier. Deal?

For the record, Brent's favorite teams are:

1. Northwestern
2. Ohio State

I was shocked that he had on a suit in similar colors to scUM, but anyone who questions who he was pulling for in the game doesn't know the deal.

Musberger gives OSU way more personal attention than any other team: he always stops by Vlade Yanikievski's (sp) Deli in C-Bus before each game (and mentions him in the broadcast), always campaigns for our kids to win awards (Heisman, Lombardi, etc.), nicknames our Middle Linebackers, and gives the viewers more detailed info on OSU than any other team.

I can't believe that we're getting Ohio State, Notre Dame, the Fiesta Bowl (my personal fav Bowl, for obvious reasons), AND Brent on Jan 2nd!! This is great!!
