Scout $ - Lynch Adds Another Big Offer

2/18

By The Bank (who apparently found out about the offer before Aaron did)...his coach talks about him as a person and as a player...he is now 6-6- 245lbs and runs a legit 4.7...will graduate early.

There is talk that Aaron could project to OL but wants his first shot at DE...

If he's running a 4.7 laser timed at 245 lbs. keep him on the DL. If he loses speed and gets up to 280 lbs, he can always move.

I think if it doesn't work out on the DL it will be at TE where he's moved much like a Marcel Frost. That being said he reminds me size and numbers wise of Darryl Baldwin except prolly about 10lbs smaller or so and much better junior film.

I don't think his frame is as hefty as Baldwin's. Lynch was listed at 6'3"/235, his coach said he's now 6'6"/245 and some schools are recruiting him as a linebacker (Alabama and their 3-4 defense). Baldwin was getting talk to play DT as he was 245 as a junior and 265 as a senior. Lynch is a long thin guy who will never be a DT, even though he could be a 280 lb. DE.

Not to discredit your good point about him being a TE if DE doesn't work....I just feel contradictory tonight I guess.

His coach specifically says his profile should say 6-6 245 lbs...but you're right in that I don't think he will be a 280 DT...I like him as a Cam Heyward-type SDE...Cam is listed at 6-6 287 and Lynch's coach thinks he can play at the next level around 280. Either way, he is no LB, IMO...he is almost Ballard's size right now as a HS junior.

Scout $ - Lynch Speaks On Ohio State Offer
By Bill Greene
Posted Feb 19, 2010

Lynch is very happy & honored to receive an OSU offer & plans to visit somtime before the end of summer... He's graduating early so he has to speed up the process of choosing... The relationships he builds with the coaches & his comfort level with each program will be the biggest factors in his decision...

Scout $ - Lynch Fits the Mold
Jeff Baumhower of IrishEyes.com, Feb 22, 2010

Spoke with some of the ND coaches the other day & they offered him... He doesn't know much about the program yet so he was surprised by the offer... He's hoping to make South Bend one of his stops when he & his coach take a road trip this Spring... Distance won't matter, no leader, no time table...
