Just sat at the airport for 3 hours only to find out that the flight I was supposed to be on at 6:20 wont get me to LA until after midnight, which means arrival at the bars around 1am, which doesn't do a damn bit of good.

Switching to guns. Whiskey.

edit: went to the stash and chose Bowmore 17 over Basil Hayden's

Evan Williams single barrel ten year old bourbon. The cheap man's Maker Mark. The numb skulls at my local grocery put in on sale at $13 a bottle, so I bought the whole case. Not bad with a little crushed ice. Has a real smokey taste where it sat in the charred oak for a decade.
