wife works with Rob Lytle at a bank in town, he is as big of a douchebag as you would expect.

Interesting that this post was just a couple ahead of the one reporting his death.

Rob Lytle, an All-American running back at Michigan who scored a touchdown in the 1978 Super Bowl as a Denver Broncos rookie, has died. He was 56.
He had a heart attack Saturday night in Fremont, Ohio, Memorial Hospital spokeswoman Chasity O'Neill said Sunday. Lytle had been taken by ambulance to the hospital with symptoms of a heart attack, she added.

Any other week, rest in peace.

This week, burn in hell.

I think we need to interrupt the Rob Lytle mourning to note that the greatest running back in Michigan history, Mike Hart, has done nothing but ride a bicycle the last three weeks on the Indy sidelines.

Why would anybody be pro-Michigan????

Not any great runningbacks but Michigan pretty much as the other positions down pat through out history. 6 Pro Bowlers last year 2nd only to Miami Hurricanes, a 3 time super bowl qb, and last year's defensive player of the year. RR will screw that trend up but hey.......at least Drob has amazing hair.:tongue2:

RIP Lytle :(

Some backs are great north-south runners; others are shifty home-run hitters; still more are excellent 3rd-down backs, able to pick up the blitz or go out for a bubble screen.

Mike Hart's strong suit has always been riding the sideline bike, and kudos to his NFL coaches for continuing to play to his strengths.
