Try 1994
Robert Smith and Raymont Harris were both in the NFL in 1994.
Using your interpretation, the year at tOSU would have been 1992.

HINT: the record was set in a game that is famous in Cincinnati Bengal history
he was at one time the all time leading rusher up there. 4th rounder after that. fyiJamie Morris (Redskins) - 45 carries in a game - December, 1988. The Bengals won 20-17 in OT to clinch home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs.
Morris finished with 252 carries for his entire NFL career.

Hmmm you seem to be fixated on that name.Buckeyeskickbuttocks;887611; said:FWIW, you could change the thread title to "Serviceable Backs" and the list would go as such:

I assume you meant "Mike."cincibuck;886979; said:I'll certainly give you Robert Smith. Remember also that he was only a Buckeye for two years... which gets to my point: it's tough to get through a Big 10 Career and have anything left for the pros as a running back.
Penn State's Ki-Jana Carter and Curtis Enis were excellent college backs but did little in the pros. Same Same 'A' train, Chris Perry and Butchamafucka, Wisconson's Ron Dayne and Iowa's Tim Dwight.
No wonder MoC wanted to try and make the jump... which brings me to my final part, of the Michigan players hanging around for one more shot at the Buckeyes, Chris Hart has the mnost to lose in my opinion. He's not that big, he runs hard and right at people and he's already proven to be brittle...
