A Crappy Day in C-Bus Town for MaxBuck

MaxBuck

SoCal, Baby!
OK, so today I was informed that I am no longer welcome at my place of employment. :grr:

Ultimately this will be a good thing for MaxBuck and his family, but for the moment I am well and truly pissed off. I have brought many millions of $$$ of business to my firm, but I have managed to alienate too many folks because of my callous, candid behavior. Gee, that should come as a real surprise to my fellow Planetoids, given my exemplary behavior on these message boards. How could anyone see me as anything but a lovable teddy bear?

Seriously, I got many many warts, but I've been a major league profit center for my company. I'm just venting, but it's a pisser of a day. Wish me well, all you who want to. And those who hate my guts, ... just don't say anything.

And for those of you who have health problems, marriage problems, serious work problems, I am praying for you; you have real problems and I just have a momentary setback. God bless all of you, and God bless my former employers, who will have a hell of a time replacing me.

Sorry to hear that!
I had a job offer & shut my business down after the landlord kept raising my rent! I do the same thing ~groom dogs! My boss was my teacher 21 years ago & 99% of my clients followed me to the new place!
As for me I have marriage problems,my husband of almost 16 years tried to sneak out! Yep~sneak out! I came home early to his empty office then he came home for his clothes & probably about crapped his pants seeing me home early!
He said he does not feel the same for me anymore & needs to leave! We just bought a house barely a year ago! I can't make him stay,I miss him but what can you do?
The only thing that hurts the most is his apartment does not allow pets & we have 2 dogs,a greyhound & a border collie newfoundland mix so he will never spend time with them unless he does not want to,that I do not know!:(

Maxbuck,

Sorry for your crappy day. I have found from experience that things happen for a reason. One one door closes, usually another one opens, and it usually is for the better.... Good Luck to you in the future....

Good luck. I experienced something similar when the IT market bottomed out several years ago. It took a few years for me to gain ground after that, but since the market has recovered, I am now in a great position. Keep your head up and keep looking forward.

2 things;

1. "Your best job security is your ability to get another job! "
(The days of staying a one place for a lifetime and being taken cared of are long over)

2. "There is always a better job out there!" (burn this into your brain)

You will be fine!

That's the price of being a Steeler fan.
