A Crappy Day in C-Bus Town for MaxBuck

If you're making money for the company, I hardly believe it's just your callous attitude that is the reason behind your firing. Money is the bottom line.

I'm sure there's another side to your story.

There are all sorts of reasons for a firing. Not all are legitimate.
Don't even go there!

Move on, be positive.

New employers can smell a negative attitude or anger a mile off.

Don't project any anger or talk about it in an interview if at all possible.

Be positive and pleasant!
This is a new opportunity for you and your family!

Say hi to stxbuck in the unemployment line.
Thank you, tibor, for your usual compassionate response. FU2.
Is your sig still true? Looks like you've been pissed off and set free simultaneously.
Thass the fack Jack.

There usually is. Ask them.
Sounds like you should be your own boss.
Why, so I can piss myself off every day? Get real.
I hope you were able to grab your stapler before they escorted you out.
Fortunately, staplers are in ample supply in the MaxBuck household!

Thanks, everyone, for your useful and entertaining responses. And in most cases, responses that helped me deal with the emotional roller-coaster (Tibor, you can exclude yourself here).

All will be well; for those of you (Elliemae, best wishes to you, girl) who have real problems, my prayers are with you. Tibor has real problems, but I need to check on whether my prayers cover him.:tongue2:

He didn't lose it. He got fired due to poor performance. Big difference.
Excuse me, Tibor, but you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. Poor performance? How on God's green earth do you know that, other than your own godawful assumptions? I hope your assumptions when you are called upon to diagnose are better than that, though frankly I doubt it. My daughter could no doubt doctorb circles around you, and she is just a 4th year med student.

You are a poor excuse for a Paki, and you think you are God's answer to syphilis. You are not; you are a self-important dimwit. Get over yourself.

I'm with Brutus on this one - if you made that much rain, find a way to do that for yourself.
Actually, the rain is starting to fall my way already; clients are starting to call me to redirect their work my way (as a free agent currently; I need to get me some professional liability insurance pronto so I can finalize some contracts). Thanks for the good words!
