#4 TSUN +1.5 vs #1 Kansas (ov/un 136.5) Fri 7:35 TBS

This one is just too hard to pick right now for me. I keep going back and forth. Withey could cause some serious issues for scUM down low but then Michigan's perimeter play has obviously been pretty good. Moreover, McLemore's been on the back of a milk carton.

Just don't know :(

If scUM is able to hit from the outside and then is able to work the ball inside, I think they'll win.

if scUM can't hit anything, Kansas can win this by 50 and it wouldn't be surprising to me. I don't see much middle ground.

Which Michigan shows up? The confident, aggressive wolverine squad led by McGary?

Or the charmin soft, McGary benched, chuck threes and wait around for Burke to do something squad that lost so many games in February and March?

They cannot win if Beilein brings back the short leash for McGary. He is the heart of that team and benching him for a mistake or two while letting Robinson lazily contemplate his interest in defending and boxing out is a recipe to return to their former timid selves.

Burke is the premiere talent but goes through rough patches. McGary is still giving great effort and fueling his teammates even when he isn't scoring.

Beilein is dumb, but he isn't that dumb. He's not going to bench McGary unless the kid starts mooning the crowd at half time. Michig*n is catching fire at the right time and playing well.

That being said, Kansas clearly found something in the second half and had a 20 point swing in that game. As long as Kansas starts the game well it will be difficult for Michig*n to win. If McGary could hit 3's consistently and thus draw Withey to the perimeter they'd have a better shot at winning.

He did it a lot already this year. I doubt he reverses directions with Morgan not even seeing the floor, but McGary's doghouse time is the reason they didn't win the league.

Kansas has always been a physical basketball team. Beating Michigan up and taking their lunch money has always been the way to beat them. Now Michigan has enough talent to hang with anyone even if they are losing the battles inside, but this is a much tougher matchup than the last two.

I was specifically referring to McGary's 'coming out' during the NCAA's. Beilein isn't dumb enough to go back.

Throughout the year and during the NCAA tournament are two completely different times.

As said, he's going to have to do something to draw the ire of their own fans for him to sit out.

I think if McGary shows up the way he has been playing he has the bulk to push Withers around. Hell even Morgan might be able to push him around. I think that TSUN will give Kansas all they want if not more because they also match up on the outside very well with the Jayhawks.

I think Kansas woke up after that 1st half against UNC. If they play like they did in the 2nd half of that game, look out. Again, it all comes down to how scUM handles Withey.
