Purdue gets sacked on two consecutive plays then heaves a bomb into cover 1 d which somehow became cover zero. Completed for fifty yds.
Next play the Purdue QB takes off on a scramble but doesn't let up on the sprint button before diving, causing a lunge into traffic instead of a slide.
Fumbled and returned sixty yds.
Ole miss makes it to the five but gets stopped there. FG.

I had a bunch of guys who I promised I would not redshirt this year since I had no idea how tough recruiting would be. Luckily only a handful actually stuck and I was able to redshirt some of them. Also, if you make more than 1 promise to a kid it looks like only 1 of them turns into an active promise. Sadly, one of the guys I promised early playing time to ended up being my 3rd best G I recruited (got 2 highly rated guys late). I am now starting him at C even though he is slightly lower rated than my Senior Center.

Great game. You held my offense in check very well. I couldn't run for the most part and had to turn to the air in the wet conditions, even when I had a few blockers in front of me the LBs would shoot the gaps or crash the edge and detonate the play.
I seem to remember a few times I went coverage on 3rd down, you opted to throw and he got stuck on the pile.
If you try to get every last yard, sometimes you end up diving and fumbling. It's infuriating but a pretty consistent thing. I usually let up on the sprint button a good 3-4 yds before I want to slide just to be safe.
You ran pretty consistently on me. I went to the dime at times because my coverage was getting smoked (not that it helped much). Hunt ran pretty consistently on me.buckeneye said:

Definitely wasn't down. I do hate that EA won't allow challenges in user games.
No, when you dive forward into contact, you usually fumble. It still happens a bit too often (like QB fumbles in general), which is their solution to limit cheesing with the QB.
You have to let up and slide, meaning making the decision well before there is a defender. In this game that's pretty doable since EA refuses to make defenders respond to scrambles, even if you have QB contain on and there's a LB sitting in a hook zone with zero WRs in his area to worry about.

I was glad you scored on that 21-31 drive, but that it didn't come on another EA glitch (especially because you were running a good drive).
Remember the play where your TE was wide freaking open and one of my underneath defenders jumped the route to tip it away? I hot routed the safety to cover the TE. Too bad EA's monopoly allows them to go 4+ years with screwed up coverage lines, so I was actually double covering the RB (the last thing I'd do) and leaving the TE untouched
. I think I could've caught him 15 yds downfield but still.
