Vandy's Week 1 Recruiting Haul:

Pfft. I got 6 instant commits, all 3 stars. Here are their ratings and position

66 CB
60 TE
63 TE
70 HB
65 FS
63 SS

Of course not all are fully scouted. The CB and one of the TE's are. The RB is 93% done. The other TE is not scouted at all, I simply offered him a scholarship to see if he would commit right away. The FS and SS are about 50% scouted. I just followed the Ron Zook scouting strategy. Shotgun approach and see who commits.

Thankfully I got some secondary help since I lose a ton at the end of the year. Now I need to try and work on some 4 star players, but for all but about 1 it will be a really uphill battle.
