Honestly, even though my DE has a ton of sacks, I really do not think it is anything I am doing, I always control the MLB or maybe a safety who is buzzing...

I think there is a precedent for complaints about JThorpe's play. This is not the first time he has been brought up for cheese or cheese like tendencies. I know I personally hate cheese...

JThorpe, I really don't know you and I am not childish enough to hate you purely because you are confused about which university is superior. Best of luck to you.

My DE gets a lot of sacks, but the vast majority are from the computer sitting in the pocket way too long. I do control him in passing downs though. Not a whole lot of fun controlling a LB or S sitting in a zone defense.

I enjoy being in coverage.... then, when the QB rolls either way I try to attack.... My D line gets a lot of sacks because of the great coverage...

I think I maybe have like 20 sacks on the year. I only play as the LB's and when I blitz it's a 1 in 100 shot of my LB getting the sack

Offensively, you can call me cheese with the yards/TD's I have with Buckner. But look at the number INT's I throw  Like I said I run ask the coach about 80% of the time. Outside of that I have about 20 plays I like that I will pick from. Anyways, back to Buckner, do I target him first in about 75% of passing plays yes. But I don't throw it to him every time. It's tough because I use a lot of PA and pump fakes...I mean it's obvious because look at the number of times I've been sacked, it's comical. I can't help it if a safety or DB bites on a few of them during the game that end up being big plays.

I've never thought of my play as "cheese"...if it is I apologize, and I'll stop throwing to Buckner

How noble of you considering he is a senior and you only have 2 more games to play.

JK. I always meant to ask you "is your offense just throw it deep every play to Buckner?" I would love to run that offense if my QB could hit the side of a barn.

My offense completely revolves around the running game. Yet I do run a wide variety of runs. I do audible fairly often though (I would say about 1/3 of my runs I either end up flipping them or I completely change the play). Audibles are the key to the running game IMO.

The mob has spoken. We aren't sacrificing 3+ users to endure a consistent complaint across the years.

I will toss out the results and Thorp will be excused from the dynasty.

Bnut is checking with Jacob Bama to see if he is still interested.

I'll chime in as an impartial observer and a former commish of an online dynasty...

Anybody else tired of having this same conversation every release?

The way I see it there are two options.

1. Say screw realism and just play anything goes. Probably lose 2-3 members.

2. Boot jthorp. Play a "realistic" style. If we go this route, make sure it's well understood that realism will apply to EVERYONE. Not just the guy that everybody gangs up against for that moment.

This basically boils down the argument to me, what are you guys looking for in an online dynasty. I know over in the PS3 side we make sure everyone knows that no cheesing is allowed and have a system to deal with it.

Here is our 'rule'

4. NO CHEESING. Do what you want against the CPU. However, against humans, it's straight-up play. I've played just about everybody in these leagues multiple times. Everybody's beaten me and I've beaten everybody. Without keeping stats, I'd guess my winning percentage against other users is around 50%. This is what, for me, makes the league fun. Do not run the same money plays over and over against humans. If you feel your opponent is cheesing, make sure you tell me about it. If you're exploiting a problem with the game's AI, and you know it, you're cheesing.

We have had instances where someone claimed the other was cheesing and had discussions like this. I know early in our dynasties we would basically hold a PM vote to decide if what is being described is cheesing or not. If it was decided it was cheese it was a simple warning. Stop doing it or you will be booted. Normally they would comply, or eventually they would just drop out on their own. Sometimes the guy really doesn't know what they are doing is cheesing. But if enough people don't like it, then doesn't that ruin the fun of the league?

*EDIT* Of course Jwins replies while I am putting together the above post...

It's not throwing to him, there's nothing wrong with having a focal point to your offense. But stat lines like this: 4 catches, 196 yards, 4 TDs

That's a tad cheese. Everyone is doing it with their wideouts though, I don't mean to single you out specifically. It's also against the computer, so I don't care as much.

I throw deep maybe 10 times a game. I run the ball quite a bit though to set it up. And like I said, PA mixed with runs, and pump fakes makes it actually work. To be honest I get burned a lot by throwing deep as well. It's just the natural outcome of the deep ball.

I throw a lot of short passes as well. I do mix it up quite a bit. It's funny though, in the user games up until I beat BuckeyeSolider, my guys would drop balls left and right, or my QB couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Just ask Bucknut and Gomer

I'll try to limit my passing a bit more. I have gotten better as the season has gone on with running the ball. At the beginning of the season, I think I was averaging 30 yards a game. Now I'm hitting 100 or well over it almost every game. That's also part of the reason why my passing #'s are skewed a bit. 1st 4 games I couldn't get out of the backfield, so I threw the ball like 95% of the time lol.

Buckner has also had a game with only like 3 catches 30yrds, not that it means much

To be honest, there are blitz packages you can run with a REALLY good DE, and end up with 3-4 sacks a game. It's a bit more difficult to do on these higher difficulty sliders, which is a good thing, but it's not entirely impossible.

And, am I making it through the first season without being cut?! I promise Jimmeh Hoffa will coach up the Deacons MUCH better in 2013! Or else the players will be swimming with the.... Nevermind.

No I know it's not specifically towards me, even though I know a lot of it is. And that's not a knock on you at all Merih, that's me admitting, maybe I should spread it around more? I know I throw a lot, and maybe have some crazy stat lines.

I think the problem is the computer either seems to blanket my WR's or leaves them completely wide open. My top WR has only about 500 yards, but averages over 20 yards per catch. Of course if my QB's didn't suck he would have more yards. Have I mentioned my QB's suck?
