You are looking live! from Nashville, Tennessee at Vanderbilt Stadium where the #21 ranked Miami Redhawks come in and try to knock off the #3 ranked Vanderbilt Commodores
We are going to have a dandy of a game folks, there has been a lot of trash talking between the teams for the past two weeks, and rivalry may be born. Since joining the ACC, Vanderbilt is 2-0 vs Miami with a 45-0 victory and a 20-3 victory. This year's game looks to be different has Miami has a QB who can not only throw the ball but can be a threat running and looks to give that stingy Commodore defense troubles. On Vanderbilt over the past 4 weeks, they have gone away from what has won them the ACC over the past 2 years. They are passing almost 40 times a game and rushing about 8 times a game, earlier in the season they couldn't get any offense going when trying to rush, so Coach Franklin decided to give this first year starting QB his shot, and he has dazzled the ACC with his arm.
Hang of folks, we are less than 1 hour away from kickoff, this is going to be a good one

Looks like Vandy is coming out with their alternative gold jersey's, they like to wear these for big games, and it has brought them good luck

after a nice pass to get a first down, QB overthrows an open WR in the middle and throws an INT

after a 3rd down conversion for Miami, they try a toss play, and puts the ball on the ground as Vandy recovers it
Vandy's best WR gets the CB and Safety to bite on a fake route and is left wide open on the fly, TD, 7-0 4:37 left in 1st
After a long 1st down completetion to the 50 yd line, Vandy's defense stiffens and forces a punt
Vandy does not see MLB playing deep and throws his 2nd INT, he's gotta see the field better
Miami scores on 2 plays finding a WR open in the corner, 7-7 2:39 left in 1st

Vandy QB overthrows another WR and throws his 3rd INT in the first qtr
Miami hits the TE on a quick seam route and scores, 14-7 1:40, Vandy's QB needs to keep the ball this time
Rodgers is able to complete a pass this time without it going to the other time to convert a 3rd down

After 1 the score is Miami 14 Vandy 7...hang on folks, this is lookin to be an upset
Vandy decides to take the ball out of Rodgers hand's as much as possible, running down the throats of Miami, and only pasing 3 times, 14-14, 3:56 left in the half
And there's the worry for Vandy's defense, Miami's Qb took off, and all the Vandy players decided to run right by him..21-14 miami
Vandy converts 2 3rd downs, and scores on a 35 yd pass, 21-21, 1:23 left in the half, a lot of time for Miami to score

Vandy's defense has left the field apparently has Miami just drove down easily to score with :14 left, 28-21
Vandy just runs a draw play for -1 yds to end the half, 28-21 Miami, and they get the ball first
Defense finally gets a stop has they gets a sack on 3rd down
Vandy gets a huge passing gain that gets down to the 5, and Stacy is able to finish the drive from there as we are all tied up again 28-28
Miami's Qb runs right up the middle, gets hit, the the ball is out!! Vandy recovers, we are back in business folks!
