#3 Wisconsin 72, #5 Ohio State 69 (Final)

I'm with you OSUBasketballJunkie I though Twigs played one of his better games of the year and gave us valuable minutes while Oden and Hunter were on the pine. Like him or not we are going to need Twigs later in the tourney......

The biggest thing holding this team back right now is jealousy -- the upperclassmen are jealous of the freshmen. Can't tell you how I know, but I know it. Look at the game and see how many times the seniors do not get Oden the ball in to post -- many times he is being fronted with no help behind -- easy lob pass for a dunk is not made. When Conley gets rid of the ball to Butler/Lewis, how often does he see it back? Rarely. Daequan gets his shots mostly by creating them on his own, or off feeds from Conley. There are some very selfish players right now and until that changes the team will not go far in the NCAAs. How can you have your first 9 shots of the game be threes with a 7' All-American in the middle not even touching the ball once? Granted Oden needs to be more aggressive in the post, but right now would that really matter? A 3 is much easier to shoot off a pass from the post because you are already square, but the ball has to go into the post first.

Matta needs to step up and take care of the chemistry problems before they get worse.

Well this is not a good thing, the team does not need to have problems like this. I don't like to speculate about things like this so I will stay away from certain players, but I think that alot of this comes back to my post about them being inexperienced in playing together. They have the potential to be very good and they need a guy like a Lewis, Harris, Butler to step up and lead the team instead of pouting, so to speak...

I agree 100% -- as good as frosh might be they need seniors to LEAD if they want to go far. I think Matta will find a way to make it work.
