#23 Ohio State @ Northwestern, Saturday, Dec 26, 2 PM EST, FS1

Bucks were the better team most of the game but faded when it mattered most. Disappointing loss, Bucks let a win slip away in the final minutes.

Not that it makes it hurt any less, but the bone-head, just-before-halftime foul was committed by Walker, not Washington.

Ah, that it was. The announcer laid into him for that one and rightfully so, that was the more flagrant bone head plays of the day. Wish we would've found a way to hold on though, NW seems pretty good but we're going to be facing a brutal schedule over the next couple months.

Just a very good college hoops game that the good guys didn't win at the end. Our bigs played well, as it seemed like NW had the height advantage. Yeah, the guards weren't 'on' with their shooting, and Duane seemed a tad slow on D. First half was gritty and matching basket for basket. 3-point shooting wasn't pretty, and if you live by the three, you also die by it as well. Definitely not a game for any player that couldn't play defense, and the rebounding edge went waaaay to NW, but maybe that's because tOSU's abysmal shooting percentage? The last play was executed just as Holtmann drew it up, and tOSU missed both of the options (Washington layup, and Liddell putback). This things happen. This is league play, and the stakes are raised. Not certain who said it, but agree that both teams could be Sweet 16 bound. Go Bucks!

Washington got shoved in the back by #1 as he was going up for the shot in the last few seconds. Sneaky defensive play to shove a driver in the back, and the refs missed it.
Putting the ball in Washington's hands to drive to the basket was a big mistake. He just does not have a good handle and if he was shoved from behind they made it even worse.
