Definition of insanity
Even with Chip as OC we did some very bewildering things. I’m not sure where the OC stops and Day overrides.
Seems like OL is an issue year in an year out

You can tell that Ryan still sort of put the clamps on Chip a little too. Just check out the wild shit Chip is doing with NW right now for example.
Ryan Day needs his Ryan Day lol… what I mean is Ryan Day arrived in 2017 and totally changed how the offense operated. We need that at some point to keep growing.
Even Nick Saban admitted he changed a lot over the years. Was more pro style, then went no huddle, then aired it out a bunch, then went back to the option looks. Ryan (much like UFM) keeps stating we run the Ohio State offense. That’s great but after 9 years teams have a good bit of information on what we’re likely to do.
My hope is that we see a return of the QB run. Not as a last resort but as a feature to open up the run game for the RBs. I’m not talking JT Barrett but more like 5-8 called zone reads. We won’t do it but we should considering Luke’s mobility.

Basically time to tell everyone there is no redshirting at Ohio State. You better be ready 24/7 or you get passed by. Next man up isn't just something said around here, it's a way of life.
