I'm still laughing at that INT that Underwood threw. There wasn't a scUM player anywhere in the picture.

DFBIA is bitching that Whittingham played it safe at the end instead of letting Underwood try to put the game away and well if you're not fucking stupid it's obvious why

I guess he "improved" in this game by not overthrowing Buchanan and Marsh when Iowa decided to leave them wide open. But he's still a very shitty QB.

Not that it means anything, but it isn't hard to argue that there should have been 4 seconds left on the clock. Not 2. And even if you want to say that there's a secret clock somewhere, you could say there's 3 seconds left. And I think we can all agree that you can spike it with 3 seconds left.

Sorry, but “take a minimum of 3 seconds off the game clock” is not the same as saying you need 3 to run a spike that leaves 1 second.

Without the injury, though, the clock was only going to be stopped temporarily to move the chains. The refs were starting the clock as Iowa was lining up, and if the clock had gotten to 2 before it was snapped, there would have been controversy about the timing of the spike even it the clock read 1 when the ball hit the ground, due to the wording of the rule.

It would have been a terrible irony if the B1G refs and replay system took a clock that said 1 second and changed it to zero.
