Partridge was fired in November 2023, with the university telling him it had received evidence he had not abided by a directive to not discuss the investigation with other members of the program. In its report, the NCAA said it found that a student-athlete spoke to Partridge about an upcoming interview for the investigation.

I don't think Whittingham ever took the job actually caring what happens or being fully into it.
