I called that in the weekly game thread. I always said the polls are a joke, but every year they get more asinine.

The Coaches and AP polls don't mean shit anymore The only poll that really counts now is the CFP rankings and that one doesn't come put until Tuesday, November 3, 2026 between 7 - 8 PM.

The obvious tinkering in favor of the SEC is nothing new but it is completely asinine that it still exists.

I think it's naive to assume that the CFP isn't at least somewhat influenced by the other 2 polls that set the tone for the season with their preseason rankings and rankings up until the first CFP poll.
There shouldn't be a single poll at all until that first CFP poll late enough in the season to have a good enough idea what teams actually are.

None of this matters folks. NIL has corrected the SECs cheating ways, for a couple years at least, so when it's all said and done and their best teams get skull fucked and dragged again in the playoffs, we can all "out" them or "cancel" them or whatever you young people do on the internet these days, and tout the northern team as the champ again.
My therapist said I shouldn't say what I would do anymore for, well, reasons.

11 AP voters still have Texas A&M in the top 20 
one even has them #14.
To be fair though, 7 still have Oregon in the top 15.
