2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

They still might go 9-3, which is hilarious because it will earn Sharon praise for "improvement" from the people who matter, but in fact it's not because they are any good but because they were gifted about the easiest B1G schedule.

Just further validation that that is who they are. Their post WWII history is that of a 3-4 loss per year team. Three things have helped keep their "blue blood" narrative alive;
-Bo had them down to only losing 1-2 games ayear for a while
-John F Cooper let a lot of those 3-4 loss teams ruin good years for much better OSU teams
-Conner Stallions and COVID

Doesn't account for the fact that some of the non-covers are for the cupcake teams they didn't scout.

Against teams they scouted, they were 76%, which over the course of three seasons is unheard of.

and if you recall the pattern, it was almost always a second half surge.

Betting the "derivatives" of 1st and 2nd half spreads is a big deal these days. They were like a cheat code (literally) to not cover first half and blow it open second half.

Underwood's sideline demeanor is about what you'd expect from a guy who's only at a place because they wrote the biggest check. Goofing and laughing giving the appearance that he could care less that the team was getting their ass kicked.

He could develop into a decent QB the tools are objectively there, but that's not gonna happen at scUM.

Haynes is a majority of their offense, Marshall did the best he could. But they're too 1 dimensional. And as good as Underwood can look at times his WRs just aren't that good. They're very inconsistent.
Welp
:shrug:
Hate to say this. My Moeller buddies tell me Marshall was a great kid, solid student, good attitude. But he was getting beat up by the end of that game. I don't think he's big enough to be the main dog in a Michigan offense.

I dunno. His delivery reminds me of Pryor. 3 years at Ohio State didn't change that sidearm passing motion, and it worked against him in the pros.
