2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments - NCAA: no wins taken away, no postseason ban

Fuck these fucking fuckers. I’m back home in the Toledo area and have had to deal with seeing too God damn many Block fucking Ms and their fucking fans around that I have had to hold myself back.

Some fucking fucker showed up next me in a parking lot at a Kroger with a Miami of Ohio license plate… gets out of his car with a fucking tsun hat on and I told him that the M on the back of his car was correct but he needed to leave the state with his hat. He laughed. I did not.

Makes me think maybe the RB doesn't appreciate a kid who couldn't complete double digit passes is making $30 million.
I think the issue is Scum fans saw what they wanted to see last week, but in the end Underwood is a freshman and showed it. The money spent on Underwood probably pushed him into being used too early.

The issue is that it will be very hard to quantify because a kid earning 7 figures as a true frosh will be expected to produce damn near all conference stats from day 1. For instance, the scUM NIL cant be happy that Underwood is starting the year as a backup. And the pressure will only get worse if he's not starting by mid season if not game 3. And in essence, a true frosh QB should be allowed time to learn the playbook and adjust to the speed of the game. But we're setting up these kids to fail because theyre getting paid so much.

Thats what I said several times, and this was my most recent post stating the same thing. And with him being 18, no one knows if he'll get better from the early adversity(which scUM faithful are hopeful of). Or he could massively regress, no one truly knows. He's succeeded at every level until now, so who knows what adversity will do to him. And scUM made an expensive experiment to try and find out

I think two things are true about scums offense right now

1) To get Underwood to flip his commitment, Moore promised him that he would not turn him into a running quarterback and would run a pro style offense. The reason Underwood did not commit to Michigan originally as he was worried about his development. Moore had to make this promise to get him to flip.

2) Right now Underwood does not know the all the plays that Michigan is trying to use in any given game (let alone the entire playbook) . I have seen Underwood turn the wrong way on play action pass fakes several times. Add the play where he threw to MaCulley's back (while he was blocking) and then argued with Haynes on the sideline it's pretty clear somebody's not on the right page.

This puts Moore in a box. Does he simplify the call sheet more? Does he hope Underwood learns all the plays they want to use? Does he break his promise to Underwood and put in more QB runs?

Let's hope he chooses poorly.

It was hilarious seeing them run up the middle on 3rd and 5/6 multiple times within scoring range. This isn't the same as calling ultra conservative vs Texas with Sayin with the lead and backed up in awful field position. That right there says there's zero current trust in the golden boy. I don't think Moore is capable of breaking the Harbaugh script that turns every QB into Captain handoff/check down.

Underwood seems very easily rattled by opponents and now his own teammates. Another game of two like this and I think the odds he transfers sky rockets.

What is even more hilarious is that now at this point in Underwood's development, the head coach has to sit out a two-game ban where he (allegedly) can't even oversee the practice sessions. Hopefully, someone from NCAA enforcement will be checking to verify that Moore doesn't violate the two week ban. At first, I was pissed about them letting Moore coach the first two games and then taking the suspension for weeks 3 and 4 but now I'm kind of happy it turned out that way. Fuck them. Come on Nebraska! Beat these fucks in Week 4.
