My people assumed the info presented to UM by the NCAA was from CMU cooperation. Now, it sounds like CMU - the institution - might have been in on the coverup and one of their own went rogue and spilled the truth to preserve whatever future they thought they had?

My best guess as of 11:30 this evening is that Kostner circled back and bucked CMU's official narrative to preserve whatever coaching career he has ahead of him.

CMU is hosed. UM is almost certainly more hosed.

There are pieces that haven't been uncovered yet. And none will be good for the winged helmet bunch.
