2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

I assumed it's about "justa burger gate." Since that's the only one that's been concluded on the institutional level and penalties handed out to the relevant weasels. Justaburgergate is also the only one of the three that is centered on recruiting violations.

08/25/2024: With the Netflix "Sign Stealer" documentary set to be released in two days time, the NCAA delivers its formal NOA to Michigan. The NOA focuses on the Sign Stealing scandal, but also contains unrelated recruiting violations (in addition to those adjudicated in Burgergate). In line with the draft NOA that was delivered on or about July 25th, four former Michigan staffers – Jim Harbaugh, Chris Partridge, Denard Robinson, and Connor Stalions – along with current head coach Sherrone Moore, are charged with Level I violations; in addition, Michigan faces a Level I violation for its “pattern of noncompliance within the football program” and efforts to impede the NCAA's investigation.

reads like someone may have copped a plea, no?

Clink and Minter fully cooperated, gave up what they knew, and still got hit with show causes mainly due to their initial interference.
This was a pretty by-the-book plea down.
Welcome to the show.

"There has been no resolution to the larger portion of the NCAA’s investigation, and Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel said that come in late summer."

"Meanwhile, Michigan awaits the NCAA’s final decision on the remaining portion of the case. That decision will include any findings and penalties for the school and the five remaining individuals — current Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore, Harbaugh, former staffer Connor Stalions, who allegedly orchestrated the sign-stealing scheme, former linebackers coach Chris Partridge and staff member Denard Robinson. Apparently it's a lot harder when you don't know what the other team is going to do. Who knew?
Donovan was astonishingly average for most of 2023, as a change of pace RB on a title winning team.

He averaged 4.2 ypc.

10 games under 3.6 ypc.
5 games he was 2.9 ypc or less.

He has always been a boom or bust RB, and has never been close to being his team's best RB in college, behind 3rd rounder Corum and 6th rounder Mullings.
