2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

Just sayin': I think the ultimate irony here on scUM is that they actually had a very good team in 2023. They had an experienced QB that McCarty played pretty good (at least he did out play McCord in The Game), had 13 players drafted in the 2024 NFL draft, and there are predictions that they will still have 3 first round picks in the 2025 NFL draft. There was a very good chance that they could have won the National Championship in 2023 without cheating. But let's face it, "cheating was and is just in their DNA".......

They were prototypical Harbaugh teams, just like the 2015-2016, 2018 squads. Arguably more talent. But the cheating kept them from violently shitting themselves until the playoffs. It’ll never not be hilarious that they had to cheat in most egregious way possible just to win their own division, but still couldn’t do dick in the playoffs until their 3rd try.

Not only that cheating set up the success for that year. If they didn't cheat in 2021 and 2022 do they make the playoffs those years? Has harbaugh been fired? No one knows

Preach, they lost to TCU because they were all in on cheating.

Also probably true, they were cheating and still lost to MSU in 2021. Probably lost that one too because of cheating, the defense bit so hard on the playside of every run, Walker could cut back and get chunk yards at will.

Losing to OSU and MSU yet again probably would have been the final word.

Yeah that team hits the portal in 20 if Simple Jim doesn't duck us. Hell a couple of them AA DL might have been playing for us.
They were likely going to fire Harbaugh in ‘20.

It would have been his 6th straight loss in The Game and almost certainly been the third straight blowout. They were tapping out and caught a one-in-a-century break with COVID.

I think it speaks to their place in the cosmos that they benefitted from COVID. You have to be fundamentally aligned to the negative side of the coin for that kind of mass suffering to be a boon to you. It’s like being the one thing in the world that somehow benefited from the Nazis.

How many pieces of the ‘23 team would’ve still been there if the ‘21 and ‘22 teams had not cheated?

Would Underwood be there without the cheating?

They benefited from cheating not just all the way through ‘23, but all the way through ‘24 and even into this season

The hammer has a lot of work to do to restore balance
Well Underwood they just straight up overpriced and bought him. He didn’t want to be there if all things were equal.
