2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

Something I thought about today: There's a lot of Michigan fans in comment sections across the internets talking about how this year's title is BS because OSU needed a 12 team playoff to win it.

Thought that point was incredibly ironic, given that their 97 "title" would be non-existent in any playoff scenario. Nebraska would have beaten the breaks off of em. If they made it that far.
Literally OSU had the toughest road to a natty. They are full of shit. Scum psyops know no bounds.

It is hard for me to believe that any championship team will have to pass the gauntlet that Ohio State ran it's last 7 games.
Why'd you pick 7 games? That 7th game includes Northwestern. If you had said 9 games, that'd include Penn State.

But even just the last 4 games - I said before that I think it's an anomaly for the #8 seed to win it all. With this format, we'll see #5 and #6 seeds get to Final Four more often than other tournaments, but #1 and #2 should get there the most, and win it the most. That means #8 won't get there that often. It just so happens that the best team in the country lost at the wrong time... or right time, I suppose.

Ohio State beat six teams in final Top 10 in AP rankings: 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10. To do that, you pretty much need to win the tournament, plus play 2 top 10 teams in the regular season if you were seeded 5-12, or 3 top 10 teams in the regular season if you're seeded 1-4. I think that's probably more rare than people think it is.
