If I’m Moore, I’ll be threatening to talk to all sorts of media about the on-the-field cheating unless they pay the full $12 to $15 million left on the contract, and I’d be willing to sign an NDA for promise of payment.
If sometime over the past 2 or 3 years they have already made him sign an NDA, I would say “screw that, pay me or sue me after I drag the football program through several more tons of crap”.
But that’s just me.
He may need the money. Half of what he’s earned over the past 2 years may have been spent on partying with FansOnly models, and the other half he could have completely wasted.

There's a good bit of chatter that the meeting between Warde and Moore was not scheduled to fire him, only to discuss the findings and start to map out a possible separation plan. That conversation degraded, Warde fired Moore, and Moore took off.
UM Comms people had to scramble out the basic release while Moore was already involved in his first domestic altercation of the day.
