Left unsaid by me is Lane Kiffens‘ perpetual mental instability, emotional and psychological problems. I bring this up 84% in jest, but I will be surprised if this is of much use to Sherrone’s case. I think TCUN is on shakier ground over when and what they knew, and when they acted. Nevertheless, I’m standing pro-chaos for the lot of them right beside you.

Imagine if it was her parents who were responsible for forcing the issue. I believe that they are speculated to be involved in the changing of the tune she was singing. Were that to be the case and they don't get the 'justice' they believe they are owed, it also blows up.

There's so many routes to this blowing up in a spectacular fashion. Just about the only route that doesn't end with that option is the school writing very large checks that have NDAs associated with them.

Either way, this is a distraction and a drag on the program. While entertaining, my hopes are that it continues indefinitely.

With other program related issues bubbling out there, it's a non-zero probability that this goes on for a good long time -- and with far reaching impact.

Let it be so.

Wouldn't be the first "understanding" between a man and wife in the history pf the institution.

The fireworks start when he gets stupid, violates the principles of Mutual Assured Destruction and the paychecks are at risk (or gone) because he fucked someone who had a lot less to lose than he did, she predictably hit the nuclear option button when something went wrong (didn't get that next 55% raise or whatever) and then he snapped. Not because he's unstable, not because he's overcome with guilt but because he didn't really think it could blow up and it just blew up.

It's as probable a scenario as any other I have seen.

I did hear on mgo that one of the rumors is the university lit the match. They supposedly told him to hire a new assistant. Now he supposedly refused but if they kept amping up the pressure till he relented then she went nuclear. Yep sounds very TSUN

Pro-chaos. Damn. When I went to register for a new DL here in NC, they asked me to declare my political affiliation when I registered to vote. "Pro-chaos" is exactly one week too late for me. Damn.

If true, that will likely trigger a Title-IX investigation. It would be prime territory for T-IX to look into a situation where a superior had an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee in their org... that the organization KNEW about and then PRESSURED for the subordinate employee to be moved or exited from the org.

Lordy... sign me up for first row seats. This would be messier than a Gallagher show.

I know a woman (now-young lady back then) that had that happen in ~2000/2001 and she's still spending the money. No bullshit.

The only problem could be the lack of any kind of Title IX enforcement under current political realities(and leave it at that).

The more this goes on, the more I agree that dear Friar Occam was right, this is just a case of the two big I's. Ignorance and Ineptitude.

Manuel still has a job because people above him keep fucking up worse than he does.
