My $.02 - Lane would LOOOOOVE his mobility.
I base this purely on the fact that the Dawgs have played Ole Miss teams lead by Chambliss and Jackson Dart and both games the QB was the leading rusher for the Rebs.

This is the clearest audio I have heard so far of the entire dispatch. Interesting that the call to 911 didn’t come from his wife after he left the house, but instead came from his mistress.

Her being the one to call the police definitely feels like she was threatened, add to that she was open about him stalking her for months. There’s no way he isn’t escaping charges, right?

She does indeed. I’m not exonerating her decision to help destroy his family. I’m curious to know what the details were after he left his house and what occurred between then and up to the arrest. Breaking and entering? Did she let him and he snapped and threatened her with a a knife?

I wouldn't even necessarily make the assumption that it destroyed his family. The wife could very well be aware that he's a serial player/sex addict type and she stays married as long as the checks keep coming in.

Wouldn't be the first "understanding" between a man and wife in the history pf the institution.

The fireworks start when he gets stupid, violates the principles of Mutual Assured Destruction and the paychecks are at risk (or gone) because he fucked someone who had a lot less to lose than he did, she predictably hit the nuclear option button when something went wrong (didn't get that next 55% raise or whatever) and then he snapped. Not because he's unstable, not because he's overcome with guilt but because he didn't really think it could blow up and it just blew up.

It's as probable a scenario as any other I have seen.

I hear ya, and I totally agree.

If I’m the university and well connected, I’m pressing and hoping there are no charges. Charges will just give Moore a public voice to put out dirt on the higher-ups - because what does have to lose now? They probably want this to go away quietly.
