#9 going to #1 for beating #4 by the same bargain as #3 beat #1 is some stupidity but I wouldn't be shocked.

Neither LSU nor Clemson looked particularly impressive either.

Also completely predictable that ESPN is going with the "Texas was just overrated this doesn't mean Ohio State is that good" spin after they spent the whole summer declaring that Texas had a significant talent advantage

If Texas is "clearly overrated" than so is Clemson but of course they'll never say that because the SEC team won that game.

Clemson looked bad on offense with a guy entering his 3rd year starter at QB too they don't have the excuse of a inexperienced QB.

How many hitmen does the SEC office employ? They might be called into action.
Top 2 in both polls are Big Ten.

Hoo boy. Florida’s road to the playoffs just had a bridge wash away. We’ll see if the detour survives the storm.
