The subject should be utilizing these guys where their talents give Ohio State the best chance to succeed.
Putting JTT at the 3 tech isn't that.

Ummm, that's where he often goes when Rushmen are on the field and they rotate positions depending on our play call

Yeah...that's a package.
I took more reps as more of a positional change. He's absolutely not a 3 tech.

It goes back to the disconnect in the scheme (mostly)....he's straight bullrushing up field on the shoulder of the offensive tackle. Sawyer is doing almost the exact smae thing. The issue is, there's no pressure in the QBs face, so he has time to step up into the pocket and there's room.
Ideally you'd have a blitz or the interior two DL make it hard to step up as well.
I also think he may be a bit overrated when you compare his impact and his initial recruit rating.
No matter what it is, putting him at the 3 tech will not do anything except either further neutralize him....

Jaylahn (Tuimoloau) and Jaylin (Holmes) were the exact same size in college. Jaylin excelled moving inside on passing downs.

I don't think that's what is being discussed here, at least, that's not what I'm debating. I took the "more reps" as a positional move, not a package type deal.

Err...right. The scheme always matters, even with all time greats. As for a bear front, I sorta kinda believe it's in the playbook somewhere.
If the scheme isn't in sync, you could have Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor and at some point you're going to get burned.

You know what really helps a pass rush? A good secondary. You know what really helps a secondary? A good pass rush. Not an ideal opponent to have neither.
