Oddly missing this year from the actual football perspective is their annual preseason over hyping of themselves.
It's like they almost know deep down that the sharp decline is imminent.
The GoBlow write ups are quite a bit less homerific and sunshine pumpy than normal, and the DFBIA themselves have managed to mostly stay away from the outlandish "WE ACTUALLY HAVE THE BEST WRS IN THE CONFERENCE" type shit they usually come up with. Well yet at least. More of them have been acknowledging that the QB situation absolutely sucks than you'd expect as well.
In fact actual football chatter about the 2024 scUM team for them is very quiet. The latest threads at GoBlow with 3 days until the opener. Even they seem to know they don't have much to look forward to.
